In June 2009, the Lord allowed a group of leaders of the North Merida Baptist Church to start this new missionary work. In 2014, Pastor Jesús Mendozá along with his wife Elizabeth began to pastor this work.

This work is growing and to date is practically self-sufficient in economic terms.

Following the model of spiritual growth, they teach discipleship classes, weekly prayer meetings, planned evangelism, youth meeting on Fridays and Sunday services for adults and children.

This project is located in a community of about 3,000 inhabitants in the municipality of Merida.

After a few months of evangelism and Bible studies in private homes, on July 8, 2012, the Lord allowed the inauguration of a meeting place for the congregation. In June 2014, God allowed the construction of a new building for the congregation.

This project is in charge of Pastor Jose Yam and his wife Maria Fernanda Barroso who graduated from our Baptist Bible Seminary.

Currently we have Sunday services for children and adults, prayer services every Wednesday and classes for children.

Hemos ampliado nuestro ministerio en Yucatán con el inicio de tres nuevas congregaciones.

In June 2015 God allows the inauguration of the fourth church in Merida, in the neighborhood of Ciudad Caucel. This area of the city is relatively new, with a large number of young families, making it a great evangelistic opportunity in the city.

This church currently has approximately 120 members, with a Sunday service for children and adults in the morning and in the evening and a prayer service on Wednesdays.

Following the same model of spiritual growth, the church offers courses of discipleship and connection with the Baptist Biblical Seminary.
